Kefalos Website

Re-imagining the digital vision for a beloved brand.

We worked to create a new ditigal direction for Kefalos Foods led by their website. More than a re-design It was a reapproach to overall brand strategy for the next century.

Challenge

Our client needed a visual and strategic refresh to better connect with an audience that was turning from traditional media to social and digital media.

As LTE was becoming more common in Zimbabwe and capable devices became more affordable it became clear for several brands that digital communication was the way of the future.

Kefalos Foods an established and beloved Dairy brand wanted to refresh their website shifting it from being business oriented to more consumer oriented.

Goal

We worked with Joe Public Zimbabwe to create a new focus. A strategy based on inspiration, the idea: to show consumers the many wonderful things they could make.

To achieve our objective, we couldn’t rely on internet stock imagery and we couldn’t rely on internet recipes that listed products not on Kefalos catalogue or available with Zimbabwe and the SADC region. This lead us to bring in a third partner; Out Of Africa Magazine.

At OutSourced we created the website layout and design and set the principal photography that would set the tone for the visuals and recipe guide developed by Out of Africa.

Result

The rebranded company experienced increased customer engagement, a boost in sales, and a stronger brand presence in the market.

The new website coupled with the new digital plan we directed was more than effective such that for time digital activity had to be paused because real-world product demand was too high. Visitors love the fresh, delicious-looking images and them they are met with when visiting the website, the design gave it a premium feel, something that the Kefalos Brand has become synonymous with.
