The National Social Security Authority of Zimbabwe (NSSA) wanted to better communicate with the public, however, they didn’t have consistent design language and a communicative voice.

Challenge
Working with Elevate, we created a brand guide and a communicative language guide without changing its core identity.
One of the first projects we created under this new clear brand was to do a campaign for Biometric Registration. This was also a test to see if our new look would help disseminate messages better. Before this to enjoy social security services beneficiaries had to produce a life certificate, this often took long to verify and create long queues. This was a problem as most clients were over the age of 65.
Goal
Our campaign had to be formal, yet new and clear. I designed and wrote a multi-language campaign with the help of copywriters to fill in all 16 official languages. It was a successful campaign as we had 85% registration with the first 6 months.
A first in a country where information is usually hard to disseminate beyond the cities. This campaign would begin the first in a line of work that saw the organisation growing their Marketing department and also onboarding other creative teams lead by the brand guidelines I created with Elevate.
